I have worked in healthcare both in the NHS and Private sector for the past 25 years. My role involved the motivation of NHS Trust service teams to strive towards continual improvement across primary and secondary and tertiary care in the West Midlands by facilitating the training of individuals in modernisation methodology and to achieve a patient and carer focussed network.
I delivered on local projects ensuring that these were being adopted and mainstreamed into everyday work. The purpose of my role was to enable and motivate individuals and teams to test new ways of delivering care leading to measured improvement in outcomes and experience. This involved coaching and training individuals and multidisciplinary teams in redesign skills, and developing excellent relationships with all key stakeholders, within and outside the NHS, in order to develop and deliver a significant improvement in services.
My role also provided funding monitoring and control for the development of bids across the network in response to National funding available for and to monitor the progress of implementation of any successful proposals.
I am a trustee for the East Lyndsey Advice Project, which I found extremely rewarding notably in extending their membership base. I am committed to ensuring that I give the best I can to any organisation I get involved with. I believe I am well suited to the role.
I have a wealth of knowledge in Event Management having experience in the Hotel & Catering Industry for the past 30 years with my husband’s catering business.
